There may be rare circumstances where it's not a sin against prudence. Thus, if Martin has terminal cancer and expects to die within 12 hours, and if he has no family or friends to say goodbye to, it might not be a sin against prudence for him to ensure that crime doesn't pay at cost of his life (using double effect, of course—he oughtn't intend his own death). However, it's probably still a sin against charity, as per the remarks two paragraphs down.
